Please join us on Saturday, Feb 7, from 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. for WinterFest at the Library! We will be showcasing library programs and services, including Imagination Playground blocks for children under 5; seasonal crafts and games in the Children’s Room; a children’s book swap sponsored by the Friends of Abbot Public Library; STEAM programs for children and teens in the Thompson Makerspace; and puzzles, games and hot beverages near the fireplace in the Scully Salon.

The schedule will be as follows:

Imagination Playground (Registration Required)

  • 10:00 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Session 1 - REGISTER HERE
  • 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Session 2 - REGISTER HERE

Makerspace Events (Registration Required)

  • 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Fake Snow (Ages 7+) - REGISTER HERE
  • 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: 3D Paper Snowflakes (Ages 7+) - REGISTER HERE
  • 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: DIY Snowglobes (Ages 10+) - REGISTER HERE
