Sharks To Parks

Monday, June 67:00—8:00 PMZoom

Sharks to Parks is the first lecture of our 3-week series led by published underwater photographer/videographer, Bob Michelson. Bob will share his expertise of many of New England’s marine life (sharks, sea turtles, whales, and much more) while incorporating his own photography of these amazing sea creatures. This series is suitable for all ages!

This lecture begins with a presentation on predator/prey relationships using his mounted 7 1/2 foot long gold hammerhead shark "Bruce".  Bob will then segue into a photography-based presentation showing all of the animals, both on land and underwater that live in and around the parks of Peabody. These include White tail deer, coyote, red fox, groundhog, chipmunk, cottontail rabbit, gray squirrel, etc. Underwater photos show Large and Smallmouth bass, pumpkinseed, bluegill, chain pickerel, yellow perch, etc.

This program will be offered at the Abbot Library (in-person) and online (via Zoom)
