Join us on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. to enjoy the viewing of a lecture about plankton.
From tiny glowing creatures to giant sunfish, plankton come in all shapes and sizes — and they’re found in every ocean, from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Join marine biologist and polar expedition guide Amanda Hunter for an intriguing look at the surprising world of the ocean’s drifting life forms. In this lecture, you’ll learn how these incredible organisms help produce the air we breathe, support some of the largest creatures on our planet and even play an integral role in regulating Earth’s climate. Discover the hidden world of plankton, teeming with life and wonder beneath the waves.
